Guests can immerse themselves in nature as they ride Better by Bikes top quality e-bikes through lush hinterland, native temperate rainforests and a 500-meter-long abandoned tunnel. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail has emerged as one of Australia's great rides. Following e-bike operation instructions and a trail safety briefing guests will set off on the trail. Start from the Murwillumbah railway station shop adjacent to the trail. This is at the official start of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Guests will ride the 24 km trail in both directions back to the start point a total of 48 kilometers. Spot wildlife, and possibly glow worms, and discover what makes this region so special with its wild biodiversity. Highlights include Travel through hinterlands and Temperate rainforests and discover its unique flora and fauna, Ride through a 500-meter-long glow worm tunnel and pass historic railway bridges. Journey into a 21-million-year-old volcano and learn the local aboriginal history of the region.
