The Northern rivers trail is 24km long and is one of Australia's great rides. Guests are immersed in nature riding top quality e-bikes through lush hinterland, native temperate rainforests and into a 500m long tunnel. The day begins with transfers from Byron Bay or Tweed coast accommodation. Guests then travel to Murwillumbah to begin the self-guided ride with the choice of riding the trail in both directions back to their starting point or being picked up at any point along the way. The self-guided trail is grade 1, suitable for all ages and riding abilities. Following e-bike operation instructions and a trail safety briefing guests will set off on the trail. Highlights include Ride the Northern Rivers Trail and be immersed in the natural beauty of Northern NSW. Travel through hinterlands and rainforests and discover its unique flora and fauna. Ride through a 500m long glow worm tunnel and by historic railway bridges. Journey into a 21-million-year-old volcano and learn the local Aboriginal history of the region.
