Over thirty minutes, Par Avion Wilderness Tours will fly you over the Eastern Shore and cross the winding Derwent River, which offers up spectacular views of the river and landmarks, including the Tasman Bridge. Then track upstream toward MONA and the Northern Suburbs. Flying down the river, over kunanyi/Mt Wellington, the majestic backdrop to Hobart City. At a towering height of over 1200 metres, its rugged peaks are often dusted with snow during winter. Continue over Hobart City and the harbour area before passing Kingston, the South Arm coastal community and Clifton Beach on our return to Cambridge.
