Ride & Dine Rail Trail, Nicholson to Bruthen

Departing lakes entrance via our tour shuttle, loaded with your bikes, plenty of water and a map, your driver will drop you to your ride starting point on the rail trail at Nicholson, about a 20min drive away. Yourself guided riding adventure takes you on an undulating scenic cycle path, which enjoys views of farmland, riding bridges over rivers and through old rail tunnels approx. 23km to Bruthen. For those inclined for a wine tasting on the way, detour via Nicholson River winery and Tambo wines which will add up to 6km extra to your ride (and a couple of hills), but the wine and views are worth it. Wine tasting is at an additional cost, payable on arrival at the winery and not included in the tour cost. Subject to winery opening hours. Not sure if you can handle the distance or the uphills? upgrade to an Electric bike. We have options of Electric Mountain bikes and electric step thru cruiser bikes for you to enjoy. Once in Bruthen, lunch is included at tampo valley honey cafe, boasting delicious local produce. and before your shuttle pick up, it might be worth visiting the Bruthen brewery to sample a local beer. Relax and reminisce with your driver on your return shuttle back to lakes entrance.
