Your journey begins from early morning Melbourne CBD pickups and head towards the eastern end of the Great Ocean Road. Morning tea (coffee, tea, biscuits) will be served before we visit the iconic Memorial Arch. This is great photo opportunity and a glimpse into the history of this legendary route. Then continue your trip along the coast and arrive at the charming beachside town of Apollo Bay for lunch (own cost) at midday. After an hour lunch break, enjoy a 20-minutes guided walk guided walk at the Melba Gully, home to lush rainforest and the picturesque cascades. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the world-famous 12 Apostles. Witness the breathtaking limestone stacks rising majestically from the ocean. Be sure to have your camera ready! Then continue along the coast to Loch Ard Gorge, where you can explore the dramatic landscape framed by towering cliffs and learn the area's maritime history, including the legendary shipwreck. Then head back to Melbourne city via inland route, passing through quaint country towns and scenic.
