Sydney City Centre

Sydney City
Sydney’s city centre offers visitors a huge variety of attractions, gardens, fine restaurants and hip bars. The city centre is also home to some of Sydney’s best shopping. There are over four hundred specialty shops in eight major retail centres in Pitt Street Mall alone. Visit Sydney’s tallest structure, Sydney Tower to get your bearings and enjoy 360 degree views over Sydney.

Sydney’s inner east is stylish and lively. Oxford Street in Paddington is lined with cafés and restaurants and has some of the best fashion boutiques and homeware stores. Woolloomooloo boasts excellent waterfront dining while Kings Cross buzzes with nightlife.

The Rocks and Circular Quay
The Rocks and Circular Quay is a compact precinct of cobblestone laneways, sandstone warehouses and merchant’s houses that has been transformed into a cosmopolitan area with one of the best positions on the harbour.

From fine dining by the water to historic pubs, weekend street markets and charming boutiques, Australian art and craft to modern day galleries, this is a district rich in history and guaranteed to satisfy all your senses.

Darling Harbour
Alive with activity day and night, Darling Harbour is home to several of Sydney’s major attractions including Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World, the Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australian National Maritime Museum, IMAX Theatre, the Outback Centre, Chinese Garden of Friendship and nearby Powerhouse Museum.

Darling Harbour is also home to two of Sydney's favourite dining and entertainment areas, Cockle Bay Wharf and King Street Wharf. Navigate Darling Harbour by foot or above ground on the famous monorail.
