The Southbank promenade along the Yarra River is one of Melbourne's most popular dining precincts, with its riverside setting and fantastic views of the city skyline. Head up to St Kilda Road on the south bank of the Yarra River and explore Melbourne's vibrant arts precinct, incorporating the Australian Ballet, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The National Gallery of Victoria, the Victorian Arts Centre, Playbox Theatre and The Malthouse. On Sundays, the Arts Centre Market spreads out along the eastern end of the riverbank with a colourful range of local arts and crafts.
