Tinonee

Tinonee was one of the earliest settlements in the Manning. During the 1900's it was an important shipping trade destination. Step back in time and visit the Tinonee Museum and experience local history with an inspection of the original gaol cell. Today Tinonee provides the focus for arts and crafts including Aboriginal art and handcrafted locally made goods that take on that yesteryear flavour. A picturesque park overlooks the Manning River and Taree Estate. This stretch of water is the focus of water skiing activities on the Manning River. Accommodation includes B&B's and cottages. Just a short distance away are breathtaking panoramic views from Brushy Cutting Lookout located on the Tinonee to Wingham Road.
