Richmond
Richmond is the starting point for the scenic Bells Line of Road - access to the Blue Mountains and Wollemi National Park and is one of the Hawkesbury's five Macquarie towns and 'twin' town to Windsor. There is a magnificent park in the town centre and many historic buildings still in use today. Visit Pughs Lagoon where you can watch the beauty of the magnificent black swans and other bird life as you picnic with family and friends. Richmond is known for its restaurants and eateries with fine food and wine. Here you will find the University of Western Sydney, Polo fields, loads of history, galleries, a shopper's delight with all those shops. Whilst it is know as the Richmond Air Base it is actually situated in Clarendon opposite the Visitor Information Centre. Here you can sit and watch the planes, entertain the children in the playground or visit the cafe.
